Nie zdawałem sobie sprawy

Przystanek Alaska - Roslyn's Cafe.

Nie zdawałem sobie sprawy, że „Brytyjska Inwazja” na Amerykę z połowy lat 60. miała też takie konsekwencje. Oczywiście jeśli wierzyć „Przystankowi Alaska”. Sezon 6, odcinek 4, do Cicely zjechał nowy fryzjer (poprzedni uciekł dwa lata wcześniej):

Angelo: Time were that being a good barber meant something. Hasn’t been that way for ages. You know all about that Mr. DJ. Bet you a big fan of that David Crosby? „Almost cut my hair. Almost cut my hair, It happened just the other day”.

Chris-in-the-morning: Yeah, yeah. Crosby, Stills & Nash, yeah.

Angelo: But it was really those damn tea bags from over in England: The Beatles, The Stones, Cream.

Chris: The 60’s. I see how a barber would have a real slack period.

Angelo: Slack period? It was the Battle of Chancellorsville – 20,000 man dead after the 1st hour. I should have gone out after „A Hard Day’s Night”.

Chris: I never thought of the destruction of the barber profession as a by-product of counter culture. I mean long hair – it’s come and it’s gone dozen times, don’t you think?

Angelo: It’s not just hair leap; it’s the all sale breakdown values, the decline of goods and services, the death of personal accountability.

Chris: Yeah, but you can’t blame all that on John, Paul, George & Ringo?

Swoją drogą właśnie odkryłem, że John Corbett – czyli „Przystankowy” Chris-O-Poranku – sam nie wstydzi się od czasu do czasu chwycić za gitarę i wdrapać na scenę. Większości zespołu Angelo by nie polubił.
