Tak, znakomicie psychodeliczny tytuł, zresztą podobnie jak nazwy utworów („Message from a Self-Destructing Turnip”, „And the Swallows Dance Above the Sun”, „Begonia Seduction Scene”), okładka, no i sama muzyka.

„Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will” też wpadło mi dziś w oko.
    A Hellstroma cytujesz zapewne z pamięci? ;-)

Niezły wynik jak na tak wąski filtr czasowy i – zgaduję po tematyce – gatunkowy.

    Ten F. Apple jest chwytliwy:
„When the pawn hits the conflicts he thinks like a king
What he knows throws the blows when he goes to the fight
And he’ll win the whole thing 'fore he enters the ring
There’s no body to batter when your mind is your might
So when you go solo, you hold your own hand
And remember that depth is the greatest of heights
And if you know where you stand, then you know where to land
And if you fall it won’t matter, cuz you’ll know that you’re right”

    Przesłuchana z szacunku dla tytułu:
Martha Wainwright „I know you’re married but i’ve got feelings too”.

    Ostatnie odkrycie w kategorii tytuł/długość:
Crash and the Boys – I’m So Sad, So Very, Very Sad (0:13)
Crash and the Boys – We Hate You Please Die (0:58)

  13. Mariusz Herma pisze:

Taak, Martha wygrała tym tytułem sporo publicystyki.

A Mateuszowa jedynka przypomniała mi o innym klasyku: „Andrew Bird & The Mysterious Production Of Eggs”.

W nowym „Uncut” mają wywiad z Brianem Eno, i zagadują oczywiście o „Music for Airports”:

„I have to say, I think Music for Airtports was an absolutely brilliant title! I could have called that record anything. But that title in its day was sort of surprising. Because it made people think that music was for something these days.

I remember one of the early reviews saying: no beat, no rhythm, no melody. As a criticism. And I thought: I’m quite proud of that! I’ve managed to leave out nearly everything!”
